I am interested in finding out if anyone knows of any other Industrial Firefighting/Safety websites. I have just stumbled upon this one which I have looked over and joined. This looks to be the type of site I am looking for, just wondering if there are more out there like this. I am located in the US, and as most of you know rules/laws/standards differ from those in Canada and other countries. I have been a member of Firehouse.com for many years (which is a decent site and appears to be powered by the same company as this site), but they do not have a very good history of getting back with answers regarding the site. I have asked them numerous times to start an "Industrial Fire" forum with no success. I am looking for sites to network and get information on various tatics, products, problems, solutions, etc.

If any one can help I would be very appreciative. I am a municipal FF and industrial ff/supervisor in an oil refinery.

I am a municipal FF and industrial ff/supervisor in an oil refinery.After doing a couple of quick searches it appears that our industrial firefighting forum is top result in a few search engines, without much else relevant showing up, so we might be your best bet. If you are looking for "tatics, products, problems, solutions, etc" I would imagine a lot of it would analogous cross border. Any answers you receive would, if nothing else, get you started in the right direction with your research. We have a number of members from the US, they all appear pretty content with the information provided from their Canadian counterparts. As far us being powered by the same company as Firehouse, we use the same forum software, and we both deal with firefighting, but that is where the similarity ends.
