Not really sure how the chain of command works around here, but who would i talk to about starting up a ARFF section? There has to be more ARFFs out there than me...? Maybe there is and I cant see it?

The ARFF section sounds like a good idea. In the meantime, try typing ARFF in the "search" area. There are a number of members in that branch of firefighting, most have posted in the threads you will find. Good Luck:flybye:

Great idea...especialy for those city FF who have mutual aid agreements with airports. It can give them an insight of what to expect when arriving on scene.

Thanks for the help. If anyone is ever at YXE (Saskatoon) Airport, feel free to stop in.

Great idea. It will also give those of us who have an airport in our jurestiction and no ARFF service a good place to ask questions and get some information.

I am looking at reorganizing the forum soon. I will consider this addition when I do the big cleanup.

I found this in another forum. If an incident like this occured it would be toned out as a 1 delta, aircraft incident on the ground. All arff apparatus would roll.

Nice job. Did they swing the bridge over the wing then lowered it or did they back the aircraft into it?
