Hi all,
I am interested in organizing a fundraiser this summer for the forest fires burning thru out BC.
I am planning to hold this fundraiser at Central Park in Burnaby. Its going to be first time doing this, I am looking for help as to which authorities i need to approach in order to get this organized.
I would like to have some bands playing thru out the day, entertaining the crowd and with paramedics and other firefighters on the scene, who would like to volunteer their time to get donations from the public.
I am going to start with City of Burnaby and talk to them if we could use a certain portion of the Central park on a given day for this fundraiser.
Who else should I contact for this. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch.
