So I was just in my pm box and saw the following:You have 7 confirmed and 2 unconfirmed private message receipts.


So I clicked on it and got the following message.


vBulletin Message JGallagher, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?

Could some one explain to me why I got that message?

Your PM privileges were suspended.

Probably due to the excessive # of poll posts.I had the same thing happen a few years ago.Playing with the pole led to trouble......I had to get some one else to use my pole to rectify the situation. Now I hardly ever touch the pole. I also feel a lot more relieved now as well.

Doesn't matter, no matter how much you play with it, it's being monitored somewhere.

Seems to be a lot of pole touching in this thread. If someone else is going to touch your pole be sure to use all the neccasary PPE!!;)

Could some one explain to me why I got that message?The PM system used to give you the option to have a confirmation message returned when a receiving party reads a PM you sent. I turned that option off because it was useless and annoying. However, if you hand any messages unconfirmed at the time it was turned off you get a link to a page which you do not have access to anymore. Don't click it and it won't bother you with an error message.

I could do without any PMS, please don't send me any.

(Sometimes there's too much of that around my house as it is! ;))
