Hi all… I just found this site and think it’s great. I’m about to apply to attend fire training at the Justice Institute in BC and was wondering if any of you out there had done the pre-firefighter employment course at the JI. Was also hoping to get any thoughts you had about the course, your experience there, and whether you would recommend it versus another training program such as Fire Etc or Texas.
Also, have any of you subscribed to www.recruitfirefighter.com when looking for employment? If so, what was your opinion on the service?
Any thoughts you had, or even if you’d just share some of your experiences at training school would be appreciated.
