BLOCKHOUSE, N.S. (CP) - A struggle between municipal bureaucrats and volunteer firefighters over the fate of an illegally erected firehall is heading to the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia. The Lunenburg municipal council instructed its solicitor Wednesday to begin court action requiring the Blockhouse fire department to tear down the building. The papers are expected to be filed within days. Town officials in the community, located about 90 kilometres southwest of Halifax, are objecting to the hall's lack of properly approved building permits.
