Hi there,
I'm trying to track down anybody who's completed the firefighter pre-employment program through the College of the Rockies. What did you think about it? Was it worth the large price tag? Would you recommend taking this program?
Basically, any information would be appreciated.
Thanks a lot gang

Hey,
I'm currently at the College of the rockies Fire program, i have Two months left and i would say it is worth your money. Before i came here i was a volly for two years and did a Two year Fire program at seneca college in Toronto. The Program does run you alot of money but then again all of them do. We train right out of Fire hall 2 here in Cranbrook. If you have any other questions about it just let me know forsure.

im enrolled to start on march 7th and i have done a fair amount of research on other programs and for the $ you are spending its a very good course :D i cant wait to get started, the city seems to be small but i didnt have to much time to explore, oh and apprently there is a nursing program running at the same time as the summer program
take it easy
Hally, how was the two year seneca program? I may be doing the three year program next fall.

My time at seneca was great. I'm from the west so being out in Tdot was nice. The schooling you get there will open alot of doors for you. If your not sure if you want to be a fire fighter or just work in some sort in teh fire service i would forsure take the program. They let you get a little bit of everythign and then move on from there.
