We just switched our fleet over to Biodiesel (B20) and I was wondering if anyone else out there had done the same?

The switch was seemless, and I don't expect many issues to arise. The guys at biofleet.net were great; helped with any questions and gave me some great contact info.

Help keep our planet a little greener. The stats are crazy.

That reminds me I just read not too long ago a nespaper article about the City of Montreal,s last tenders for fuel supply for 2008 requesting biodiesel and ethanol blend gasoline instead of the regular fuels for all our pumps on the island.

Considering the size of our fleet (blue collars, white collars, buses, police and fire) is many thousands of vehicles I would be quite curious to see if using those "greener" fuels will make any difference at all.

What do you expect.... he's an "islander" :D j/k!

I remember someone saying something about Sooke's trucks using biodiesel but I don't recall if anything ever developed. I know the chief's new Highlander is a Hybrid, so that is a step forward (in most people's opinions).

"Going Green" seems to be the new thing; or bandwagon that everyone wants to jump onto.

Basically, same same. Varies between equal to 1 cent difference.
