structural FF gloves

I searched previous threads for info on gloves but couldn't find what I was looking for.
What I'm looking for is feedback/thoughts on the best make/model of structural firefighting gloves you've used or tried on.

I've seen prices from $85 - $145 (US dollars) listed on the web. What kind of price were they quoting at the hall?

Well they had somewhere in the 100 dollar range. They didn't get very specific on the price, only said they were expensive.

I got lucky enough to demo the new flame fighter gloves last year for our department. A week after I got them we had a residential structure fire. I was the first line in. We ended up going onto the back door onto the porch and I fell through. As I was falling I put my hand through the window and drug it down the from on all the glass. Did not do a thing of damage to the glove. I truly believe that this glove saved my hand. Apparently the chiefs and the distributer also believed the same thing because now all 36 members of our hall have a pair.
They are 100% water proof, NFPA certified, and also kevlar palm.

I would recommend this glove to any department looking to get new ones. Well worth the money and the lack of stitches!!!
