I remember an MVA years ago.

The crews arrived on scene at the MVA, the PT was out and EHS was already on scene. So the IC ordered the guys to disconnect the battery cables on the two vehicles involved. One of them, however, their cables connections were badly rusted and stuck, so the IC ordered the cables cut.

Turned out the 2nd vehicle wasn't actually involved in the MVA, even though it had body damage. The driver had witnessed it and pulled over and was giving a statement to the RCMP.

He wasn't to impressed to find his battery cables cut when he came back!

I am glad I wasn't in command for that call!

Sounds like the cop that was trying to alert a resident that there house was on fire...broke the windows and the door down...to find out that he was at the wrong address. It was one house over.....
