I believe there is a growing need for some forum rules.

Demeaning posts or comments have no place in the forums nor in the fire service.

Yes, this is becoming a growing issue.

We are currently in a large stage of development and are upgrading a number of the Firehall.com features, including the forum. Once we have upgraded the forum we plan to implement a moderator system where select Firehall.com users who are active in the forum will be able to moderate or organize posts. For now, if you feel any posts are of questionable content feel free to contact us (http://firehall.com/contact.php) and let us know. We try our best to keep on top of these things, but the odd one slips by.

Thanks false_alarm, I see you've started some new forum areas they should be real interesting reading. And a thumbs up to FireEMTGuy for airing this issue in the open.
