Hey Nova,

Was confused why this was in the speed regulation section but was interested in hearing about it. Hope you don't mind that I started a thread on it.

Do have any info on the manufacturer or the name so I can check the web for info.

Thanx,

Placed it in the wrong spot. oops.

If you go to www.novafire.ca on their products page you will find a link for Fire Hooks Unlimited. They call it the Fire-Rescue Net. at the bottom of that page is a short video clip on it. Looks like it has good potential.

Hey NovaT,

Question for ya.

The video showed the product fairly well and it appears to work nicely in a completely intact car. Has this been tested with the roof removed at the top of the A posts and the windshield out?

Just wondering if there would be enough structural integrity to hold. Let me know if you have any info related to this. Has your department been hapy witht he use and results of the product? Any concerns or changes you think would have made it a better product?

Sorry for all th questions. Just curious on the product.

Thanx,

Apparently there is no problem with the roof & windshield gone as long as there is som A post left. The bottom straps do take a lot of the pressure.
