TORONTO, ON - The Toronto HUSAR Team went to SARSCENE 2004 with the intent of defending their title as SCARSCENE Games Champions, and defend it they did. The 8th annual SARSCENE Games were the feature event for Day 1 of SARSCENE 2004. Held at Fort Calgary and St. Patrick's Island in Calgary Alberta, the games brought four Canadian teams together to compete in various search and rescue (SAR) events. Following a day of fierce competition the Toronto HUSAR Team defended its title as overall champion, followed by Foot Hills Search and Rescue in second place, in third place Ground Search Newfoundland, and in Fourth place was a team from Moosejaw, Saskatchewan. The Toronto HUSAR representatives were chosen from the HUSAR Training Group. The following members were chosen for their abilities:
