The Dawson Creek Fire Department was on the receiving end of a little assistance for a change. Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. donated a dozen Scott Air Bottles to the outfit on Friday afternoon. The new lightweight air bottles will deliver oxygen to firefighters when they are in a heavy smoke or gas situations. The new tanks are substantially lighter than the 20 pounds that the older ones weighed filled.
