8 years young...... man the time sure has went by fast,
from getting 6 calls a year before amalgamation, to having 40 calls plus a year...... Seen the first pumper i drove in, to my first call, now seen it retire and the new pumper parked where the old girl once stood.... man 8 years can wait for the next 22 years.......

Almost 13 years and enjoying every minute of it. Working for my 3rd department. Whenever I get transferred in my job, one of the 1st things I look at is a place to continue my volunteer firefighter career! :)

35 years as a volunteer here. It was never a question of "if" but "when" I would become join. I am a 3rd generation FF. And after all this time I have decided to get off the sideline and back in the game by running for 1st Lt. in next months election.

Thank you all off you for your greathing. On my last day work had 3 calls, 2 small grass fire and one alarm system. what was the funny thing it was at the park house and my first call last years at my new hall was at the same place. This morning had breakfast at the restaurant whit almost 50 FF's on 11 stations whit a few retired FF to congratulate me. They where one more retired FF: a chef operation how was my lieutenant befor and co- worker on the same team. We had good relation together. In mounth of november they will give us and the others retired FF in the year a big party. Whit all the years i work whit my partener, many of them become Lt. so maybe i was a good coach for them and they learn some good thing on the fire. Probably they had more ambition than me ??????????
For my self i put more importance in my hoby like archery. Saturday i whent to the provencial tournement near Quebec city at archery association and i finish 3 th position in coumpond releas ajustable.
Had the result only sunday night and that put a cherry on my last day of work. but the other week befor i participate the provincial tournement whit the federation and i finish 4 th position in class maste ( 50 years over ) I thing i will be ready for next fall for the hunting season. Loll..
Whit the broder hood of you all , i wish i had the chance to work whit all of you. Thank you again. I cheer you whit my glass of wine tonight.
