I am seeking advice from ppl from the edmonton and calgary firedepartments. I am hoping to join either of those departments and just want to know what courses help get recruited onto the deparment. I appreciate any feed back.

That being said, the people in recruiting are very helpful and would be your best resourse for any advice regarding hiring.
