Captain Will Armitage

We will be paying our last respects to Captain Will Armitage of Red Deer County tomorrow.

He passed away suddenly at the Wetaskiwin Hospital, Wetaskiwin, Alberta on Friday, February 22, 2008 at the age of 44 years. Will was a very active member of our department for the past 16 years.

We will all miss him.

An amazing man with an amazing dedication to the community.
More than a Fireman, he was a Son, Brother, and loving Husband and Father.
I can't grasp what his family is going through. I hope they know how much they are all thought of. The four children left behind, stand tall and set your path to follow behind the man your father was. He will always be with you. As Firefighters, Captain Will Armitage you will be with us for every call.
