This acronym would be for Tactical priorities, was taught this as a proby many many years ago, and still use it today when pulling up at a call: SCREEO(Rule of six)
S=Size Up
C= Call for help
R=Rescue
E=Exposures
E=Extinguishment
O=Overhaul
A=Ventilation
B=Salvage ( These two can be used at any time during a fire situation as required)
This is the order that things should be done when pulling up, there have been many names and variations over the years, rule of six, tactical priorities. Does anyone remember the "Captain REVAS" series, a variation of the above. I think it was Rescue, Exposures, Ventilation, Attack,Salvage basically similar to the above. Main thing Rescue first, Exposures second, Then Extinguisment
PS I realize this is a very old thread:D
