posting confidential pictures or information

I have read and saw some information and pictures that have been posted by one of my fellow fire fighters from our station ths would be okay except for one thing every thing posted was confidential or security senstive info chief is not to happy about this. we get good and bad publicty allto often bad maybe we should post what is released in the paper and keep the paerwork on the chiefs desk on the chiefs desk.
