I was just wondering whose worked in Snow Lake, Manitoba? I have been hired there for this summer, and I've never really been there, actually I've never been to Manitoba. I'm from Ontario. Also whats the Base like for accomadations (work out facility? living quarters?). Thanks alot to anyone who knows.
I have lived in snow lake 11 years ago and was apart of their Volunteer dept. back in 1997. You'll like it there. I believe the Chief is Bob Forsythe unless he has retired?. It's a beautiful place. If you have any questions please PM me. Other wise it's a pretty relaxed dept. Everyone works well together. The place has a local gold mine which I used to work in and there are others around. Hope you enjoy it.
Cheers
Are you with the Department of Nataural Resources or the Local volunteer department? I know when I was living there they had apartment buildings that where decent. Maybe you could ask around once you get there to see if anyone wants a roomate?
