I found some pics of our new pumper---they aren't that good but I thought I would put them up anyway.
This truck is a Spartan Furion chassis with a Crimson body that was sold by Dependable and has ( from what I hear) the first Boomer unit in Canada. Will let everyone know how it performs once we do some service testing and training on it before it goes into service.

Nice Rig,
Congratulations.

I heard they sold that thing, yes it is the First to make it North of the boarder. Appearantly she's quite the quick truck.
however to correct your post, Dependable sold it, It was manufactured by Crimson Fire ;)
Congrats on the Purchase.

I still haven't got the info on it yet.
Is Brinkman the contact or should I be calling Lunny?
We were hosting IMS from the Fire College this summer but it has been postponed twice now.
I guess it will go to the fall.
If you want to be notified when we are eventually hosting it PM me.

telesquirt,
I hope I didn't offend you with my corrections on the details of you new rig.
It looks good and like any dept, a new addition to the fleet is usually a good thing.

So are you keeping the old 88 Ford "Telesquirt" or can we call you "Boomer" now?
;)
I looked at the "Boomer" website, it is quite the versatile piece of equipment, water tower, stand pipe, light tower, hydraulic hose extension and so on!
The Furion Chassis is very European looking, nice rig!

Hi Pellatt----I will get some info for you on the Mod A----I will probally be instructing on this one in Kenora, but it depends on the numbers---if it looks like they won't get a full or almost full roster they may cancel it off.

If you start calling me BOOMER does that mean I will have to start wearing a sweater tied around my waist?----almost like a TAD or CHIP ? ;)
I think we should stick with telesquirt.

Thanks,
I have three rookies I would like through it.
I will have to run it past the chief though for budget approval.
I am pretty sure we can get you numbers if you need em.
Please PM me with the details.
