We currently having some technical problems with the pic of the week submit page. If you wish, you may submit the picture via email to picotheweek@firehall.com

Pete, the Public service announcement on your website is so true...it should be shown on TV from coast to coast in my opinion...stay safe...

That PSA was filmed here in Mississauga by one of our firefighters. The woman's voice you here was from a call we had in Mississauga many years ago...it is not staged!
It is an excellent video, and really should be seen by everyone.

Yep and everyone wonders why I moved to Northern Ont, that video shows exactly what it's like living in "the big city", people are too much in a rush to stop for lights and sirens. After 40 years living down there I was way over due to enjoy life, life is great now:D

Tell me about it :) :) We moved from Toronto to rural Ontario just over a year ago - I wish we'd done it years ago! The people are nicer, costs are lower, healthier atmosphere, etc.

Luckily for me my regular job allows me to work online, so I don't need to be near the big cities anymore. (Not to mention being a volunteer firefighter, which just wouldn't have happened in Toronto :)
