my fire dept is in search of some Air Tanks that no one is using no more..7 of our tanks have expired and 4 will be expiring within the next year..Will pick up anywhere in NB or NS area..we dont have much funds but can pay a minimal price that will be coming out of my own pocket..thanks in advance...

Your FD should really apply for emergency funding or something and get all those bottle reaplaced with new ones, or refurbished ones. You gotta rememeber, if you get used ones you will still need to get them VIP'd/Hydro'd and that all costs money as well. And if you do get new ones, dont get fibrewrapped or you may be in the same situation a few years down the road.

Hello, Have you tried contacting bunker fire and safety inc? at www.bunkersafety.com
They have used scba's at great prices as well as bottles and they give great warranties

What type of SCBA bottles are you in need of 2216 or 4500. Fiber or Aluminum? We may be selling off some Scott 2216 Aluminum real soon. We also have some 2216 MSA Firehawk SCBA we will be selling. Not sure of pricing yet. will find out.
