View Full Version : Five Langford firefighters hurt in Okanagan accident

Five Langford firefighters were among six taken to hospital in the Okanagan Saturday after the fire engine they were in went off the road in Naramata, about 15 kilometres north of Penticton. Three of the Langford men were sent to Penticton for treatment and another two were airlifted to Kelowna. None of the injuries was life-threatening. The accident happened about 6 p.m. The firefighters, whose names were not released, have been assisting the firefighting effort in Okanagan Mountain Park since Thursday.
