Just saw this today, thought I would post it and see what you all think.

It looks interesting, definitely outside the box. I didn't get a chance to listen to it while I watched it, so I will have to give it a second watch when I get home.

I would, however, question its reliability or operations if it wasn't anything but a perfect day as shown in the video. Cross wind, rain, snow, etc. What about at night? do the compartments have lights? does the system have its own generator? Back up cables/pulleys?

It's a very interesting idea. I don't know if i'm impressed with the novelity of the design, or disappointed beacuse it appears to be subject to some operational limitiations.

It apparently holds 150 people (30 per cell). Is there a need to evacuate five (5) floors at once? What are the transit times, how fast does it move?

Can it transit through a danger zone (i.e. the fire floor(s))?
