I was heading out to our Company Christmas get together, when I came over a hill to see the lights of a fire truck, ambulance and police cruiser. As I pulled closer and then came to a stop to allow the oncoming traffic to pass through, I saw a lady on a stretcher with a paramedic at her side and a fire fighter standing at the front of the stretcher, brushing her hair back repeatedly and talking to her.. hard to paint the picture, but it was clear he was comforting her... The big picture of course was an unfortunate accident (apparently), but the smaller picture was one person comforting another when she needed it. I hope it helped to warm her heart as much as it did mine. It's the little things.... I'm sure I'm not describing it well, but it was just one of those moments that makes you smile in spite of the circumstances.
Anyway, just wanted to share, it definitely takes a special person to do what you all do! :)
Take care! Sue :)
