Hey BOSS;

What about an area that we might beable to post a firefighers death, maybe someone we met at the fire college has passed away or someone from a neighboring hall has passed away
or a retired firefigher passed away...... kinda nice to know about it before he is in the ground.................

This is being done and well I might add by a great site called the Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation (http://www.cfff.ca/) On there site you will find this page The Fallen (http://www.cfff.ca/cfm/fallen/index.php) This page seems to be everything you asked about and more. There is a link to this site on ours under Associations.

In a case were you know of a special some one that has passed on and was an active member of the fire fighting community let us know. We will post a kind word on the front page of Firehall.com. Keep in mind for this to happen you must supply us with an obituary, or the like, that we may post.

Thank you for supporting Canada's #1 online fire & rescue resource,

The Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation (http://www.cfff.ca/) is an organization that we at Firehall.com do endorse as an invaluable asset to the Firefighting and rescue community with an outstanding agenda. We recommend to all members of Firehall.com that are interested in the building of a monument to the fallen have a look at their site.

We at Firehall.com have come to understand that this is a topic that requires its own area of discussion on our Forum. Please refer to our newest section The Fallen (http://firehall.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=58) under News & events (http://firehall.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=6)

This area of the Firehall.com Forum is dedicated to those men and women that have made the ultimate sacrifice. It is here that we remember their dedication and selfless actions in the saving of others.

This section of the forum is open to all for the posting of remembrance. We pay homage to those that have fallen not only in the line of duty but to those that have dedicated their lives to one of the most honorable professions of all time, the protection of us and our neighbors.
