Well here it is Christmas eve, so I thought I would share a story:

It was one Christmas eve a long long time ago. Santa was NOT in a good mood. Mrs. Claus had cut him off. Something about too many eggnogs with the boys in the workshop. The elves were threatening strike action and demanding better pay a new work schedule, eggnog breaks, and a better work rotaion than 4 weeks on 48 off. A nasty winter storm was brewing over most of the central latitudes with freezing rain and nasty windchills. And at the North Pole it was 80* below zero. Rudolph's nose refused to glow, and three of the other reinder had diahrea. It was promising to be a most unpleasant evening.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door, and when Santa opened it there was an angel there. The most cherubic angel you can imagine blonde curls, wide eyes and a beautful wide smile that lit up the cold northern night. The angel said "Hi Santa, I've brought your Christmas tree. C.O.D. . Where do you want me to put it?"

And THAT'S why there's an angel on top of the Christmas tree!

Merry Christmas. Smash
