Got A Promotion Today

Found out today, that I am officially the newest Unit Crew Leader for the Port Alberni Tunderbirds. So I will now have the call sign of Thunder 11.

This is hopefully the first major step in what I hope to be a very long career with the Wildfire Management Branch.

Hope to see my fellow BCFS fire fighters out there this summer.

I wasnt in school when it was on so I was big fan,had all the diecast toys from it and everything.

No I won't be at the boot camp. I maybe arriving for a Crew Leader boot camp as the second recruit boot camp is ending, not sure when the dates are yet.

And I have to make a correction in my new call-sign as they have once again changed them. I will be Thunder Alpha-1, not Thunder 11 and I will be in charge of the Thunder Alpha Squad. Not pleased with this, not pleased at all :motz:. At least the call-sign that I have had for the last two years, Thunder 42 will be retired for forever with my crew nickname(Matches) attached to it :star:.
