Here is a link to the new Crossfit gym in Hamilton
www.crossfithamilton.com
They are offering a amazing discount for a limited time, $50 off the price for the length of time you are a member at the gym. There is no initiation fee and it is month to month so you can cancel whenever you want.
If your interested check out there site and go check it out, the owners are great and I changed gym to workout with them.

I've always been tempted to join Crossfit but you are still looking at $100 a month even with that discount. Poor folk like myself simply can't afford that. I wonder if I can get a military discount on top of that??;)
Other then price, for me, I'd say this one looks the best I've seen

Yeah, I know what you mean about the price, but to be totally honest depending on the amont of people in the class it is almost like personal training, you have a trainer there pushing you.
If you compare $100 for crossfit, to your gym membership of $50 or personal training $50-$60 per hour. You are getting a way better workout and it is fun. You can always try the gym and if you don't like it or afford it you can cancel anytime. I would greatly recommend it. What is $50 at the end of the day, I bet you will spend that $50 somewhere else if you have it in yor pocket/bank account
Also the atmosphere is great, I never thought I would liek a class type atmosphere but you get to make alot of new friends aswell as contact that are usefull.

This is a topic that seems to come up a lot when talking about CrossFit: It's too expensive!
It is true, CrossFit is more expensive than a traditional gym, but it is really like comparing apple to oranges. Yes, we are in the same "fitness" industry, but we are selling different products.
To use an analogy, YES, a Geo Metro and a Ferrari are both cars, but one can get you where you want to go (results) much faster than the other.
I have found with my experience in and around CrossFit gyms, that this concern about price is usually voiced by people who have never been to a dedicated CrossFit gym, or taken part in a group class. You can not judge the program on price alone, you must judge it on value. As sunfire67 noted, you are essentially paying for personal training, and not only that, personal training in a "Ferrari" of a fitness program.
A CrossFit membership is about priorities. If you hold your physical fitness high on your list of priorities, (and you should if you are a FF) then you will make other adjustments in your life to pay for a membership... drink a few less beer perhaps, get rid of some of those HD channels, etc,?
Yes I have a biased opinion as a CrossFit gym owner, but I wasn't always, and I have paid my dues as a member. It's worth the money, every cent. Besides if you sign up for an autopay, you never really notice the money missing, you just adapt your lifestyle around it. It's really a minor lifestyle change for a major lifestyle improvement.
