I know that the english speaking Med Techs go to the Justice Institute of BC for their PCP paramedic program. The military delivery model of the JIBC PCP program is CMA acredited. A year or so ago the CF changed the requirements for the program, adding the requirement that graduates must take the BC EMA Licensing Board PCP exam. Those Med Techs with the BC licence are able to go through the Ontario MOH AIT PCP Equivelency process. This involves taking a 3 hour AIT written exam, and 4 practical stations. If they pass, they are deemed equivelant to the AEMCA, and are issued the AEMCA certificate, without writing the AEMCA exam.
There is a good discussion forum called Canadian Forces Medical Group, that can give more information.

Here is a link to the CFHS /CFMG board on army.ca
You should be able to find your answers on that board with the search function.

Hi
I doing a paramedic program at Humber College (Ontario) for 2 years and wondering if I should join the CF as a med. tech. first after graduation. The reason why I want to join the CF is because I want to experience life in the military. I then plan on applying to EMS services across Ontario after the CF.
What is life like in CF?
How often do you get transferred?
Personal experiences in CF?
Any help would be wonderful.
Thanks.

Good, once you get passed Basic, SQ and your trades training. The first few courses suck for the most part.
How often do you get transferred?
I think it used to be every three years. Now I think it varies from anywhere from 3-8 or even longer. I work with a guy who has been posted to Winnipeg for 10 years.
Personal experiences in CF?
I have enjoyed every minute of it. Like I said the first little while sucks until you get qualified. But it is also where you meet a ton of people and have a great time.
Best of luck if you decide to join up.
