What is the most memorable thing your have done with your crew after an all night fire call?

Years ago we spent most of the night and early morning at a fire, afterwards about 6 AM, we all wanted to go for breakfast, but no one was open yet. So we decided to all go home and get our golf clubs, and go for a round of golf, until the restraunts were open. Picture about 8 or 9 of us all on the links at 6AM, after an all nighter, half of the guys hardly ever had golfed before. Boy did we have a blast. Let me tell ya...golf course ettiquete(sp?) was at an all time minimum that day:D

Be safe,

I can recall having a big snowball fight/wrestling match in the parking lot after a 4 am Medical in the middle of a storm....It was all fun and games till some people got pi**ed and call the cops on us..Generally depending on the time we just go to Tim Hortons and tell story and shoo the sh*t

Well, usually after an all nighter we end up somewhere for brekkie. One late June morning 5 of us went water skiing before brekkie. That was fun.

Now about 5 years ago, real dry fall. 17:15 dispatch to LARGE stubble fire. It was a good burning day y'know, winds 50k gusting 70. Hadn't rained in about 3 weeks. About 1 1/2 sections by the time we got that one corraled. Back to the hall about 20:30. One of the Caps says let's just order some fried chicken. So we do. Water up trucks, change wet filthy hose for dry clean hose. Just putting the nozzles on the pre-connects, and in come the chicken. Perfect. About 90 seconds later tones. Rock and roll again. Different stubble fire, and this ones got lotsa brush to play with. Not quite as big and wind is droppingm so we hold it to one quarter. Back to the hall, about 23:00. Chicken into the microwave. Everyone has their first bite and......you guessed it. 00:20 MVA. Two vehicles with entrapment. Back to the hall at about 02:00. Threw out chicken, decided it was jinxed. I went home and BBQed steak. It was REALLY tasty.
