Hey guys just got back from driving to London to hand in my application and my mom called me and told me Midland had called and they want me to come in for a hour and a half interview. I have to say im super pleased since usually it takes a while and lots of recruitments before you get an interview but I guess things just worked out well with this one. It's in less than 2 weeks so now I gotta find out more about Midland. Any pointers on ways to find out more about the community?

Hey congrats! Check out their website, visit the town, halls, etc. Speak to people and research as much as you can. Make sure you are fully prepared and you'll go in confident. Hopefully nothing conflicts with the London process. This is a pet peeve...no recruitments for a while and then they all happen at once and you have to choose between them sometimes.
Good luck!

No it doesnt but at the gym I work at our personal trainer left so im working tons of shifts until we can hire some more people so some days im working 5am till like 4am. Its good though because i'll print off tons of stuff and then just read it at work since I do hardly nothing there. And im going to read my essentials and stuff incase its got some situational questions.

Visit some of the hall's in the city you are interviewing for. You can get some pretty good info from the guy's. But don't just show up, phone first and get the OK from the skipper on duty.....

Hey congrats man!
Whats going on with the Midland recruitment? I hear it was a temp position? Did the give you any details as to how long they wanted you? Sounds good though!

Yeah I think it said it was a temp position when I applied. I think its because they have somebody on disability. The departments average age is like 45 or something so they need some new blood forsure. Theyre going to have lots of people retiring. No info on if theres a training time or anything. Theres no training officer so I don't know.
