I've recently been told by my superiors in the information department to do some research into new social media. Seems like our Department is launching some kind of communications initiative using web 2.0 technologies. I've done some research and just thought I'd share with those who know they need to start using social media in their department but just don't know where to begin - Like me a couple weeks ago!
