Hello

I am interested in doing some oilfield firefighting and was wondering if anyone knew of what companies are or are soon to be hiring.

And also what are the typical requirments for an oilfield firefighter?

Thanks

Qualifications will vary from company to company.

Have a long hard think about this and do some reading here before you take the leap as it is most definitely not for everyone. I was into it for about six years before I got smart and went to work for a Scottish firm dealing primarily with the offshore (not firefighting)

I think Caribbean Petroleum Corp. is currently hiring. They seem to have their hands full and are looking for some immediate assistance. http://www.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/americas/10/25/puerto.rico.explosion/index.html?iref=topnews

Requirements?......probably just a decent pair of running shoes and a good idea of which way the wind is blowing.

Good to know that the Environmental Protection Agency is stating ""We're not finding levels that would be of concern," ........wtf?

Carribean petroleum huh that is sweet. I could make huge industrial bucks and live on the beach.
