Calgary's emergency service providers -- police, EMS and the fire department -- will face critical hurdles in meeting their obligations to Calgarians a decade from now because the city is growing so fast. "The growth of the city presents a challenge for every front-line, outward-facing city service that is providing service to the public. There's no question," says Emergency Medical Services spokesman Mike Plato.
