Hey all,

I am planning on applying to BCFS again this year. However, I will be going to Arkansas for fire academy from Mar 1st- May 1st. Do you think I would be able to get an interview before I leave? Also, if I am lucky enough to be invited to boot camp, would I be home in time? Basically what I am asking is when are interviews and when are boot camps? From looking at their site it says interviews in feb-mar and boot camp in april-may. DO you think they would accommodate me or no?

I emailed them basically the same question, because I will be away at TEEX during bootcamp, basically the guy said No, if i can't make it to boot camp I'm SOL.

He then told me to contact the contract fire crews in my area. I've heard they aren't as good to work for, but for me it's just the experience I'm looking for. but it's worth a shot to see what they say?

Are they still open for applications? I checked out theur website and it said they would no longer be accepting anyone else for the upcoming season.

well i got an interview!

anyone out there wanna help a girl out? what do they ask you about in the interview? they said to ask others about the technical questions.
