I'm looking for an excerpt from the fire code for a building we are building on campus. I don't have ready access to the code cd. It is a blurp about using "industry practices" as an equivalency to code items. It's located in section 3 or 4.
Any chance someone could post it for me?

Thanks for the reply. I think I found what I needed from NFPA at this point.

Which province do you live in? Equivalencies usually are reviewed at city hall. Fire prevention is usually present too. Is there anything specific you are looking at?

I just got a cd copy of the Ontario Fire Code and Building code if you still need something found. Let me know, I can look it up.

How does Ontario deal with equivalencies?
