I'm not sure that hauling a 27' fith wheel trailer qualifies as "camping", but I do that.:) Water skiing, downhill skiing, snowmobiling, playing with cars (Mopar or no car). Used to play hockey. Quit at 14, Started again at 27, quit at 35 (ran out of knees), have been known to hack the occasional golf ball around a course. (I play a 2 over par game...per hole:D ) Have also been known to drown the occasional worm.

on edit: My wife won't let me list firefighting as a hobby, she says it is an obsession!:D

Fighting fires is number 1. Hunting deer is number 2. Aside from that there's my computer (I'm here aren't I) and my other electronics hobby...

Computer gaming, working in my shop (especially on the wood lathe), skydiving (yes, five jumps to date :), reading. A few of the guys here in the village are trying to get me into hunting, which looks really fun, too. (I've had the meat that was the result of past trips - what a treat!)

Scuba, golf, squash - are they actual hobbies? I always think that hobbies are like model aircrafts, building birdhouses and that sort of stuff.

hmmmm

Seems like a record going round and round in here.

Hunting and most anything outdoors, anything water related - canoeing, kayaking (whitewater and sea), scuba, fiddling with computers, scanners (radio) & as others have mentioned.....it's more of an obsession......the good'ole firehall.

Oh Oh...............I got one nobody's said....................i enjoy all the said stuff like hockey, working out, camping.......................but, I also play the bagpipes and am always playing when not busy doing other things. I often go down to the waters edge and play at sunset or sunrise. I actually had a guy from across the bay come talk to me one morning because he kept hearing the faint skirl of the pipes and wanted to know who was playin!!!!

I'm glad to see alot of hunters postin' in here!! I thought the young breed of hunters was a dieing one! I came here to Peterborough, which I thought was an excellent hunting area. And I think it is, just no one I have met are hunters. The people I have met were surprised.........you......shoot.....animals??? I also snowmobile, a bit of fishing, football, music, friends, camping, partying, part time farm, lol and a bit of computers. The next hobby I hope to get into is kayaking. I love it so much. Taking one up north in the summer to a secluded lake in Northern Ontario or Manitoulin Island is the best trip ever.

Hi Michael13

I make them out of a type of Clay you bake. And thank you, they have come a long way from the original ones.. they have become popular christmas gifts with the various fire depts my county.
Make all kinds, some with a hose, wild fire, some with SCBA, female fire firefighters, try to make one for all the various jobs there are with in the fire dept.. was even asked to make a larger one for a near by fire dept for thier fire fighter of the year award.
I personalize them with a helmet # or the fire dept initials on the back.. I also make paramedic's and police and a few special requests... :-) it's fun.. and sort of keeps me out of trouble.. :)

hahahha... I have to say I agree with you there... I did it once in my "younger" days... crown and ginger with a shot of Jack on the side... it was a road trip from here to Kingston.. by the time we made it to Kingston, I had so much to drink I was actually full! hahahaha!! And yeah, the next day, that was a rough ride home! hahaha!! Ahhhh, to be young and foolish... I think I would die if I did that today!!! haha!

the only thing i can remember about Halifax is moosehead premium dry and a large wedding and a few of us guys from Ontario fighting.... man they sure know how to put a party on....
my cousin had it on video, it was the best....... Jack Daniels and i have an understanding i don't mess with him and he leaves me alone.. man i have been sick from that stuff, however i do like gentlemen jack, we did a tour of the distillery a few years ago and brought home a few bottles.... a little higher on the octane level... but its nice on a hot day over ice...
