Unless you are an RN I think the only place you can get IV certs are with whoever employees you via base hospital, that is provided they do IVs as part of their SO's.

Any course you take outside of BH will not necessairly be recognized by your employer if they do have PCP's with IV cert. If the employer does not, then it really won't be any use to you. (Like when an ACP goes to work at a PCP only service, they have to run PCP)

Now if you're looking to jump over to Alberta where EMT-A's have IV, you may be able to audit a course for RN's to get the neccessary skills for your licensing exam in Alberta. But I'd check with the ACoP to make sure that's acceptable.

IVs aren't in the Ontario PCPs scope?

You can take the modules in alberta. But, I'm not sure if these skills transfer to any other province though...here is a link showing the modules you would have to take, if moving to alberta...
