Hello everyone,

I have been reading the forums on this site for a while and find the information very informative.

I currently have been working in emergency response for 3 years and considering applying to fire-fighting. I believe it is an honorable and great profession, like the other two emergency response fields.

I know there are plenty of things to love about firefighting, but for those of you who got on, what do you find that you dislike or rather not do, about firefighting?

In all honesty there are not to many things not to like but one thing that can get to me is when the call volume is down and we aren't doing anything. Don't get me wrong I love having a day or night shift or two with not a lot of crap going down. But sometimes you can find yourself staring at the speaker trying to use your Jedi powers to make a call come!

Lmao.....Ya that's another one. Or any bathroom related things for that matter. Showering, face half shaven, etc.........
