Hey everyone. I just got my license and just finishing up the LONG hiring process with BCAS. What I want to do is work up on the rigs up north (have all my extra certs) but I need advice on which company to work for. Preferably BC for now as I have to get my license in AB still. But ya which company is good and which pay the most? I hear some pay 7-800 a day but the highest I've found is 300. Any recommendations?

Lots of people I know work for either Global or IPS. I don't think you'll get 7-800 as day as a PCP for any jobs that I know of. I think Global pays around 400-450/day for PCP's. I have no idea about Alberta companies.

What station are you working out of for BCAS? I work out of the Gold River station, but once I get my license hopefully on October 4th I am going to be putting in for transfers to stations around Nanaimo. What ever station you start working at, just try to stay out of all the BS and have fun doing your job!
Good Luck!
