While playing a game of hide-and-seek in his family home, five-year-old Machel Maxwell found a lot more than he bargained for. A ceiling fan in his Orléans home had an electrical short and had started to spew smoke throughout a bedroom and other parts of the house -- but hadn't yet snared the attention of his parents, who were in the living room. In a move that would make Sparky the fire dog -- the fire department's mascot -- proud, Machel....
