Has anyone heard or used the Bowring? I have seen the web page but have not read many reviews on it other than the ones posted on the Bowring Web Page. If you do not know what I an reffering to do a google search "the bowring" and you will find there site. I am not promoting their product I just wish to know more about it.

Wow, there sure are a lot of features crammed into that thing. I watched the youtube videos and while I haven't used it I would definitely give it a try....unfortunately...I'm not sure I can justify 125bucks USD for each member. Hmmmmm, wouldn't mind trying one though!

That is what I was thinking. I was hoping that someone has either used one or have heard about them before I go and spend the cash on one. Not sure how I feel about it as a tool to take out windshields though.

Yeah if you watch the video of them cutting the windshield...it looks a little "messy" for my liking compared to a window saw or something else. I wouldn't mind experimenting with one at all though...but like I said....I'm going to have to really like it to spend 125 bucks on it.

I do carry one in my gear and have used it in a few applications, it is a great tool if your call volume has a high structure fire count i wouldnt reccomend it for volunteer firefighting personally because it hardly sees its full potiential(also based on OUR call volume). I am a volunteer and thats how I know. This was also a gift to me so i didnt spend the money on it and I have done my home work on this tool as well because I was looking into picking one up when they were around the 70 dollar mark. BUT its great for advancing a 65 up stairs or on flat ground ill promise you that lol.

I am not promoting this tool in any way shape or form im simply giving an informal review to provide information.

I just ordered my own Bowring, and I'm looking forward to testing out. I'll give my opinion once I've had a chance to work with it.

It is a lot crammed into one package... I was a bit hesitant at first but as I was watching the videos I do see that if a person worked with the device consistently then it would certainly have a spot.

I'm looking forward to both objective and subjective feedback on it.
