HANNA, AB — The Hanna Volunteer Fire Department is looking for a few good people to join their crew.
According to David Mohl, Chief of the Hanna Volunteer Fire Department, membership in the department has been falling as the volunteers move away from the community.
“In the last while we’ve lost people who have moved out of town and we’re at our low limit,” said Mohl. An added concern for Mohl is the lack of people available during the weekdays to respond to an emergency call. “When we typically get the lowest number of people showing up is during the day, from Monday to Friday,” said Mohl.
