Tomorrow, Tuesday March 1, 2011, will be two weeks, to the day, that we laid Kingston Firefighter Anthony Vanderholst to rest. Please, allow me to take a few minutes of your time. When I last posted, it was to share my experinces during Anthony's funeral. It was also my intent, to come back, and ask the following.
Firstly, for all the people, on this site, that are in the process of becoming a firefighter, please remember, volunteer or full time, you are entering a family enviroment, your involvement, during the dark times of your brothers and sisters, is important, and will always be remembered.
Secondly, as we have four new recruits, who were in attendance, at Anthony's funeral, it is equally important, for us to encourage all of our members to take the time to participate, in these type of events.
