SQUAMISH, BC - All right, so there’s no NHL this season. But there is the Guns and Hoses hockey challenge, and it’s happening at Brennan Park arena March 4.
The Squamish RCMP and fire department are going head to head and all the money raised at the tournament will go to the Humanity Village project and Cops for Cancer.
“We’re trying to make it an annual thing,” said Steve Virgint from the fire department. The charity tournament has run twice in the past and most of the money went to the food bank. This year the money is being divided between two charities.
