Both rinks squandered some great opportunities, but what a shot by Jennifer Jones for the win.

Bet we'll be seeing that shot on the curling highlight reels for the next, oh say, 25 years.:D

An excellent shot for sure. Too bad for Hanna...her team outplayed Manitoba pretty much the whole game. If it wasn't for Manitoba's great round robin record, I wouls have to question whether the best team won.
Two things for sure though....Jones will represent Canada well and we haven't seen the last of the Ontario team..they played like Ed Werinech!!!

I'd agree with you there Roadwarrior. Hanna played a very aggressive game. Made some great shots too. They certainly had the Jones rink on their heels for most of the game.

I'm sure that with that team's talent they'll be back. Women's competitive curling is growing so fast though, that a lot of great rinks won't get a second chance.

I don't think there could have been two better rinks in the final.
