there is and old fire hall in kitchener ontario built before w.w.1 fire hall no.2 located between victoria st. and wellington st. on duke st. it now gives sanctuary to an auto body shop for almost twenty or more years the building on the outside looks to be in good shape the body shop owner appears to live on the second level hose tower also looks good my city tends to destory it's past for something it thinks is better ever since high school i wounder why it was not transformed into a living museum to teach and remind us of thoughs who have fallen in the line of dutie protecting us civilians .
what i would like to know is are there any fire eaters out there who are trying to save old fire halls and can they help me save a bit of our past with no.2 fire hall in kitchener

That's a great idea to restore that old fire hall and turn it into some sort of a museum. This would serve as a historical reminder of the past. Plus, that historic site can be added on tour guides where tourists can stop to visit. So your city would win in this regard.
