KELOWNA -- Hundreds of Kelowna residents lined the city's downtown streets yesterday to honour the workers and volunteers who fought the Okanagan Mountain Park fire and helped 30,000 evacuees. The crowd applauded and whistled as firefighters, police officers, paramedics and volunteers marched during a morning parade that kicked off Celebrate Kelowna, a city-organized Thanksgiving Day event.
